Mission

Stunlock Studios, known for its globally successful games, had outgrown its indie roots and needed a brand identity that reflected its new position as a major player in the gaming industry. The goal was to create a stronger, more cohesive brand that would not only showcase the studio’s creativity and quality but also attract top talent and engage its community.

Solution

As part of the HiQ team, I led the rebranding process, starting with a Brand Sprint—a series of workshops to define Stunlock’s vision, mission, and unique identity. These sessions helped clarify the studio’s core values and market position. From there, I created a mood board, translating insights from the Brand Sprint into a visual concept. This guided the development of a new graphic identity, including a redesigned logo, typography, and color scheme, ensuring a fresh and recognizable look that reflected the innovation and energy of Stunlock Studios

Results

The rebranding successfully positioned Stunlock Studios as a forward-thinking game developer with a strong, competitive identity. The new brand now resonates with both players and potential employees, strengthening its presence in the gaming industry while staying true to its creative roots.
