Husqvarna asked us to help develop a new service for arborists. We began with research and concept development, then developed an MVP to test the concept with real users.

Mission

Magnus and a multidisciplinary development team—including designers, project managers, developers, and testers—set out to create an MVP for Husqvarna. The goal was to develop both an iOS app and a streamlined web application, ensuring a seamless user experience while working within an agile Scrum framework.

Solution

As the UI/UX designer, Magnus was responsible for shaping the visual identity and user experience of the MVP. The project incorporated cutting-edge solutions developed in parallel by partner companies, requiring close collaboration and regular check-ins with startups. Magnus also played a key role in defining service logic, working closely with UX designers to optimize usability. The entire project was executed remotely, utilizing digital tools like Figma, Teams, and Miro for efficient collaboration.

Results

The MVP successfully delivered a functional and visually cohesive app for both iOS and web, aligning with Husqvarna’s vision. The agile process allowed for continuous improvements, ensuring a user-friendly experience. The project also fostered strong collaboration between Husqvarna, partner companies, and the development team, paving the way for future innovation.
